Dude obviously is becoming lazy or doesn't care anymore. There is a pattern of bad first round scores. I think the money or fame has gotten to his head

Tiger used to do pretty similar maybe not as high as some of these first round Scottie has been doing lately but I would always get so frustrated with Tiger in round one. He seems so conservative and it was always around even to one over or maybe one under. With other guys going like five or six or seven under. And it just seemed like tiger could do the same thing, but he wasn’t for some reason. But then he would methodically work his way up the leaderboard.
I think Scottie and the other great ones, and Tiger and all that they get so focused on never hitting the wrong shot that they forget they can hit the gas too like some of the other guys that have nothing to lose. And then once they do that for too long and the swing is in our point or something is a little off then they’re really spotting the field way too many shots. They have to remember they need to go after it too these guys are not gonna hold back.
This is a somewhat recent thing with him so I’m not expecting it to last forever but it’s definitely of note.
And he'll somehow come out third, because why not.
