Here are five things to know.

LAST TIME OUT: Wisconsin opened their 2026 Spring season in ninth on Feb. 9 at the Arizona Thunderbird Intercollegiate. They shot +49, overall, and beat six teams at the winding Tucson Country Club. Four Badgers finished in the top half of the field, led by true freshman Grace Slocum.

FAMILIAR FACES: The Badgers return to Westbrook for the 15th year in-a-row, having credible success in Peoria over the quindecennial. UW has fired two program 54-hole scoring lows in the past two seasons. Recent alum Chloe Chan matched a program-best 65 in each of those seasons, winning the tournament in 2024. Brooke Farrell was the first Badger to win the Westbrook in 2016. Wisconsin tied for fourth in last year’s event, led by top 10s from Chan and Vanessa Ho.

KATE ON COMMON GROUND: Junior Kate Brody returns to Westbrook after finishing 11th in 2024. She fired a career-best 67 in the final round, yielding no bogeys, to rise six spots in the ranks. The 2025 Big Ten runner-up had a 68 the day prior. Brody opened her spring last week in 38th-place, scoring in all three rounds for the Badgers.

ON THE RISE: True freshman Grace Slocum paced the Badgers in the season opener, finishing 34th at +13. The competitive field and course conditions saw her individual rank rise 129 spots in what was UW’s highest-rated event of the season thus far. Slocum has had an exciting start to her collegiate career, posting two top-40 finishes, across four events without ever dropping out of the top-60. Her fall was highlighted by a 40th-place finish in the Badger Invitational, going +9.

SIEHL SEEKING SUCCESS: Senior Alexia Siehl began her final spring campaign in 42nd at the Thunderbird Intercollegiate, shooting +15. She’s been a top-three finisher, or higher, for the Badgers in all but one event this year, including pacing UW in 29th at the Wolverine Invitational. The South Carolina native closed the fall season with a season-best even-par at the Illini Invitational, before taking 34th at the Route 66 Invitational.
