A North East crazy golf venue has been transformed into a sports and games bar following a six-figure refurbishment.
Mulligans, located on Newgate Street in Newcastle, now features a games and sports hub with electro-shuffle games, upgraded seating, and a full menu of food and drink.
Stephen Brown, chief operating officer at Adventure Leisure, said: “We’re really proud of all of the changes and upgrades we’ve made to Mulligans Newcastle to bring sports fans as close to the action as possible, without being in a stadium.
“The fun doesn’t stop there.
“We still have all of the games we know our guests love and have introduced electro-shuffle to our roster too.

“Our Newcastle site is the third venue operating under our new Sports and Games concept.
“We hope that the Geordies will love it as much as our friends in Cheltenham and Romford do.

The venue still offers arcade games, such as basketball, as well as electro-darts, pool, and crazy golf.

A new stadium-style seating area can hold up to 53 guests, with additional screens placed throughout the venue.
A new bar is located next to the seating area for quick service during games, and a new VIP section with private booths and personal screens is available for private hire.

The menu features pizzas, nachos, and dirty fries, with options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets.
Mulligans also offers a range of drinks, including 12 signature cocktails, Guinness, Inch’s cider, draught beers, wine, and alcohol-free options.
Adventure Leisure hopes the new concept will become a favourite among Newcastle sports fans and casual visitors alike.
