A familiar entertainment spot at Grandscape is getting a fresh start and a new name. The Tiger Woods-partnered company, PopStroke Entertainment Group, will officially reopen its newly unified venue in The Colony on March 5, converting the former Fireside Surf space into The Surf Lounge at PopStroke.
The change brings the entire destination under one brand while expanding its hospitality, dining and event offerings in one of North Texas’ busiest entertainment districts.
From Side Attraction To Centerpiece
According to PopStroke, the newly branded Surf Lounge is designed as a natural extension of PopStroke’s existing experience in The Colony, where the venue has already built a loyal following around its dual 18-hole putting courses, on-course drink service, playground space and full-service restaurant, BarTenders. Now, the experience goes beyond the greens.
The Surf Lounge introduces an open-air, poolside environment built to host everything from casual hangouts to large-scale events. The flexible layout allows the space to accommodate private parties, corporate functions and everyday guests.

As part of the relaunch, BarTenders will take over all food and beverage operations inside the Surf Lounge. The restaurant will debut a menu tailored specifically for the poolside setting, featuring shareable plates, elevated bar bites and a curated cocktail program.
Designed For Events And Community Use
The revamped venue is also positioned to become one of Grandscape’s most flexible event spaces. Its adaptable outdoor configuration is intended to support a wide range of uses, including private rentals, milestone celebrations, corporate outings and recurring public programming such as happy hours, brunch events and themed day parties.
While food and beverage service will be available to the public during designated hours, access to the surf component itself will be limited to Surf Members. Membership details and pricing are expected to be announced at a later date.
