Tommy Fleetwood has become a free agent in the apparel world after ending his 16-year partnership with Nike, and he’s now sporting Tiger Woods’ Sun Day Red brand at The Genesis Invitational.

Recently, Fleetwood has been seen wearing various clothing brands after raiding the Pebble Beach Golf Links pro shop and donning Lululemon and Vuori at the Dubai Invitational. At the PGA Tour’s second signature event of the 2026 season, Fleetwood teed off in the first round wearing the brand created by tournament host Woods.

“No, yeah, our contract was ending,” said Fleetwood of Nike after the first round of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. “And it just turned out like we, you know, sort of didn’t end up in a place where I’m wearing Nike stuff this year. Who knows what’s going to happen in the future? But this is cool.

“Like I don’t know, like I feel like I’m a big golf fan. I really like golf stuff, so it’s quite nice to be wearing like Pebble Beach clothing,” he continued. “I mean, my kids would absolutely love this stuff, so I feel pretty lucky to have it on.”,

Woods launched his Sun Day Red brand in February 2024. Stanford University standout and 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Rookie of the Year Karl Vilips serves as its first official PGA Tour ambassador.

When asked if he collects logos, Fleetwood smiled and acknowledged his passion. “I like hats. In general, my kids wear way more golf merchandise than I do, because I haven’t been able to either. But no, I do like it,” he added.

Fleetwood, the 2025 FedExCup champion, is making his sixth appearance at the event and has consistently improved his finish in each of his previous five outings at The Genesis Invitational.

When asked about potential future deals, Fleetwood mentioned that a preferred logo might play a role, though he’s keeping his options open.

“That’s a great question. No, I don’t know. We’ll have to see, we’ll have to see what happens throughout the year. Yeah, I’ve got a lot of good stuff, so I’m not — I’ll have to think about that one.”
