But after a few months, I’ve gotta say I haven’t had this much fun on the course in a really long time. Somehow I’m more confident over the ball than I was with my old cavity backs and, when I land it on the screws, I’m seeing trajectories out of my irons I’ve literally never seen in my 35 some odd years of playing the game.

I need to throw some jumbos on and maybe they’re a degree or 2 too upright, but they’ll be in the bag for a while.

I just became a better golfer looking at your pictures.

I have some Callaway Prototypes from 2009. They’re an absolute joy to hit nicely

Blades are for everyone. Don’t listen to the haters. It’s like saying an average guitarist has no business playing a really nice Stratocaster. Utter bullshit. Play what makes you happy.

You only live once. And they are timeless so your game can grow into them as it sounds like it already is.

    Hey OP

    Stunning irons enjoy.

Regarding grips – Need to throw Jumbos on.

Keep in mind current grips and their weight vs the grips you’re thinking of swapping to and their weight. All grips we use have +/- tolerances …

Rule of thumb for each 4-5 grams heavier the new grip is you’ll lose 1 Point of SW – Swingweight. Added weight to the butt end of the club throws the balance point SW off … two much change will make the club head feel so much lighter.

Was speaking to a fella couple months ago his grip change added some 55 grams of weight to the butt end of the club, translated to 10/11 point Swingweight change.

Keep grip weight in mind …

    Play well !
