ACH Group’s Golf Masters Tournament is returning to the provider’s six Adelaide homes, coinciding with the LIV Golf Adelaide competition.
The ACH Group mini golf challenge will see a winner from each home crowned, and the overall champion will be awarded an individually tailored green jacket, like those awarded to the winners of The Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club in the United States.

ACH Group chief executive officer Linda Feldt said the residents have embraced the golf fever gripping Adelaide with the LIV Golf tournament. But their event is about more than competition, she added.
“The ACH Group Golf Challenge allows residents to connect with a major community event like LIV Golf,” she said.
“The tournament is not only fun; it brings out the competitiveness in everyone and is also great for the health and wellbeing.”
Resident Gary Osmond, a former groundskeeper and former participant in the ACH Group Golf Masters Tournament, will be participating for a second time.

“I came third last year and I’m hoping to go a bit better this year,” he said.
“It is a great day – everyone comes out to play or watch, and we have a lot of fun. I hope the competition goes on forever.”
To ensure residents of all abilities can participate, the tournament has been carefully designed to be accessible to people using wheelchairs or walkers for support.
ACH Group’s health and social teams have also worked closely with local business Epic Hire Adelaide to build the mini golf course and provide modified equipment.
“The golf sticks have customised handles with longer grips that allow all people to participate. They also have shorter grass than usual to provide a more solid base, and the course can be changed around to keep things interesting,” Ms Feldt said.
