  1. New intro music? Can't wait to hear it. Just as long as it's nothing like "5 clubs" intro, which makes me feel like I'm 85yrs old, lol.

  2. There's only 2 players in my lifetime that can shoot -9 under on the back 9 of the MASTERS.
    Tiger Woods
    Anthony Kim……..must see TV 📺.
You can be 5 shots ahead in the clubhouse and be sweating bullets if Tiger or Anthony just starting on the back 9

  3. Lav…as one of the OG X LIV Bots 😆 I can speak on our behalf. If you've been on this side of the fence and went through what we've been through the last 4 years you would understand the appreciation for a PGA podcast to give that tournament and AK its proper due without slighting it or taking backhanded shots at it as you do it. Rex even managed to do us right this week. Acknowledgement that LIV Adelaide has added to golf ecosystem is a great 1st step for LIV to prove its worth and an even easier step for you guys on that side to slide a little more positive LIV coverage in over time.

  4. It’s even more controlling when they don’t even have to say what you Can and cannot say. Obviously AKs win could not to be denied.
Until Tiger says ‘I’m out of the Masters’ he’s in the Masters. All these surgeries are done to be there.
Tigers seems not interested in captaincies as of now. He is busy trying to get back to playing and doing whatever it is pga tour boards do endlessly; only to have to fix it later.
And he does not want be in a Keegan position.
Justin Leonard could be our Luke Donald?
Back to the schedule: the problem is the same: too many compromises. Too many interests. Too many opinions. And again, better is questionable. Without the Liv players I honesty do not get the point of all of this. How are you going to put the top players together without mayor the top players ?

I personally feel the pga tour players who remain play together enough. They need to improve venues after Florida.

I feel casual golf fans understand the fed ex points and thepga tour in general better than Rolapp.

The best players are often the longest players. But riv does not over-reward the longest hitters. Similar to Sawgrass or Waialae, anyone playing great can win. And anyone missing something can lose. That’s why Riv is the best track on Tour. This would not change anytime of the year. I’ve been to a US senior Open in the summer, it is a similar test. Riv will always have those tricky bounces and demanding green complexes.

  5. To be fair last year this tournament was put at Torrey Pines and Scottie finished 3rd. I think there are just a few courses Scottie cant conquer. Look at last week and how he finally backdoored a top 4 finish for the first time in his career. He is still relatively young in his career. He is only in his 6th season on the pga tour. I think that is lost in some peoples mind cause we expect Scottie to show up every time he tees it up now. This week will probably be another birdie fest cause T Lew told us the other day the tour decided at least for the first round we will be playing lift clean and place.

  6. Question for sunday: Recently the R and A decided in 2028 due to the olympics all of their opens will be in August will that be a hurdle that Brian Roloff has to contend with when he is putting together a potential schelude that the superstars will love but the rankin file wont?
Also, with this schelude we could be looking at a potential 6 months off season for the superstars. Will that impact their game cause some of them wont touch the clubs besides maybe Hero at best but we know that is just a 20 man exhibition event?

  7. Rex Lav, yes thanks again for this show and giving balance to the golf ecosystem, don’t always agree on the early PGA love in only and disregarding LIV , that it was all about money, now you are looking up and wider. Thank you. Thanks for shouting out the AK story as a headline. Paul McGinley was one of the first broadcasters to acknowledge LIV gold player data as benchmark. Great to hear you guys not putting your head in the sand and pretending LIV is not relevant. Been to 3 LIV events with family, they don’t want to back to DP tour event but want to go back to LIV event. That says it all for new audiences and fan engagement. Great show BTW
