Loyola Intercollegiate Final Results
GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Brady Kaufmann earned a top-20 finish and SIUE golf finished in 17th at the Loyola Intercollegiate completed Tuesday at Palm Valley Golf Club.
Richmond edged host Loyola-Maryland, finishing at 34-under to take the team title. Loyola was 31-under. Denver (-27) finished third.
Kaufmann shot a 71 (-1) Tuesday and was five-under for the tournament. Tomas Rascon finished tied for 62nd with a two-over-218.
Preston Bily finished five-over to tie for 78th.
Max Bruening and Will Simpson were each seven-over and tied for 89th. Brent Reintjes finished at 12-over in 111th place.
Richmond’s Carson Baez won Individual Medalist honors with a 199 (-17). UT Martin’s Luke Caldwell finished as the runner-up with a 203 (-13).
The Cougar will next travel to Oregon for the Bandon Dunes Championships March 8-10.
