Five-time UFC World Champion Conor McGregor is branching out beyond combat sports. The Irishman has signed his first golfer, 14-year-old Eilgin Michael from Dublin, to his McGregor Sports and Entertainment company.

McGregor announced the deal on Instagram, calling Michael “the next golf superstar of the world” and praising his extraordinary talent.

At just 14, Michael drives the ball over 300 yards and spends more than five hours a day practising. “Rain, wind, doesn’t matter,” McGregor wrote. “He is out there grinding, with his amazing parents right behind him all the way.”

“God, family, golf. That has been Eilgin’s life every single day since he could walk,” McGregor added. “We are proud to sign this phenomenon and invest in his journey to become Ireland’s most successful golfer. Welcome to MSE, Eilgin Michael!”

Michael’s father described the signing as a “powerful day,” sharing his pride on Instagram. He highlighted that his son started playing golf at age two and dreams of reaching the world No. 1 spot.

This marks a new chapter for McGregor Sports and Entertainment, which has predominantly focused on MMA athletes. Michael now joins the company’s roster to help him develop his game and navigate a path to professional golf.
