LA QUINTA, Calif. — UC Davis men’s golf continues its spring campaign in the desert this week, serving as hosts for the 26th annual The Prestige at PGA West. The Aggies welcome a star-studded field to La Quinta for one of the premier events on the collegiate golf calendar.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
The lineup for UC Davis is headlined by Curtis Da Silva, who enters the week fresh off a team-best performance in Hawai’i.
He is joined by returners Ryan Firpo and Lequan Wang, while Zhenxian Zhang and Treed Huang make their spring lineup debuts.
Shaun Nair will represent the Aggies in the individual tournament, which runs concurrently at The Golf Club at Terra Lago.
The three-day event will feature 18 holes of play each day from Monday through Wednesday.
The field of competition is stacked with 24 teams: Clemson, Colorado, Colorado State, Gonzaga, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Lipscomb, Little Rock, Nevada, North Alabama, Northwestern, Oregon, Oregon State, Princeton, San Diego, SMU, Stanford, Texas Tech, UC Davis, UNCW, Wake Forest, Washington State, Yale.
Course: PGA WEST – Greg Norman Course – La Quinta, Calif.
Par/Yardage: 71 / 7,185
Individual Course: The Golf Club at Terra Lago (North Course) – Indio, Calif.
Format: The 24-team field will compete in a 54-hole collegiate tournament. Teams will play 18 holes per day. The low four individual scores will count toward the team score each round.
SEASON NOTES
UC Davis returns to action following a trip to the islands, where the Aggies faced elite competition at the Amer Ari Intercollegiate to open the spring slate.
Curtis Da Silva highlights the lineup, entering the week with momentum after firing a 9-under 207 to tie for 38th individually at Mauna Lani.
Head Coach Cy Williams continues his 32nd year at the helm. Under his guidance, The Prestige has grown into one of the most respected tournaments in college golf, regularly attracting national championship contenders to the Coachella Valley.
