PITTSBURG – The Pittsburg State University women’s golf team will begin the spring semester at The Southern Invite in Spring, Texas at the Cypresswood Golf Course.
The Gorillas eneded the fall semester at The Tulsa Cup (Oct. 27-28) with a 10th place team finish, as Genevieve Akers finished in 35th.
Pitt State will have Abby Ervin, Charlotte Kerbs, Akers, Kylee Hopper, Kymbree Larance and Katherine Adkins competing this week.
Ervin averaged 81.5 per round in the fall from five tournaments with a 45th place finish at the NSU Classic (Sept. 8-9). Kerbs for the fall semester averaged 83.9 per round with a 63rd place finish at The Tulsa Cup. Akers, averaged 85.0 per round last semester with a 50th place finish at The Tulsa Cup. Larance for the fall averaged 82.8 per round with a 61st place finish at The Tulsa Cup. Adkins for the fall semester averaged 85.0 per round with a 50th place finish at The Tulsa Cup.
