GOLF Courses in Inverness and Nairn have been included in a major junior competition which is taking place this year.

The Scottish Golf North Junior Order of Merit have revealed the 14 golf courses in the Highlands and Moray which will host the competition during 2026.

Inverness Golf Club, Kings Golf Club, Nairn Golf Club and Nairn Dunbar Golf Club will each host a round of the tour during this year.

The final of the competition will be at Cabot Highlands Old Petty Golf Course at the end of the season on Sunday, October 4.

The competition is open to junior golfers under 18 who are members of a Scottish Golf North affiliated club.

The top four scratch players and top four handicap players will qualify for the grand final at Cabot Highlands on Sunday, October 4 to decide the overall champion.

The tour also include the North of Scotland Junior Championship at Maverston on July 9 and North District Junior Championship at Golspie on August 7.

July 5 – Alness Golf Club.

July 9 – Maverston (North of Scotland Golf Junior Championship).

July 14 – Nairn Dunbar Golf Club.

July 15 – Muir of Ord Golf Club.

July 21 – Inverness Golf Club.

July 30 – Nairn Golf Club.

August 3 – Elgin Golf Club.

August 6 – Kings Golf Club.

August 7 – Golspie (North District Junior Championship).

August 8 – Moray.

October 4 – Cabot Highlands Old Petty – Grand Final.
