MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women’s golf team returns to action, teeing off in the Rivertowne Intercollegiate, hosted by Charleston Southern at RiverTowne CC on Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 17-18.

 

Sloane Spessard, Maddie Peake, Taylor Reaves, Addy Parker, and Emma Louise Hunt will tee it up this week for the Blue Hose. 

 

This will be the first time that Presbyterian has competed at Rivertowne CC since Sept 12-13, 2016.

Location: Mount Pleasant, South Carolina
Date: Monday-Tuesday, February 16-17, 2026
Format: First Two Rounds: 36-hole shotgun start at 8:30 am on Monday. Final Round: 18-hole shotgun start at 8:30 am on Tuesday.
Field (6): Charleston Southern, Coastal Carolina, High Point, Omaha, Presbyterian, and USC Upstate

 

LAST TIME OUT
– Presbyterian opened its spring season last week (Feb. 9-10) at the Oyster Shuck Match Play, finishing in a tie for fifth. 
– The Blue Hose defeated The Citadel by a 4-1 score on Feb. 10 to pick up their first win of the Match Play.
– Sloane Spessard went undefeated in the event, finishing with an undefeated 2-0-1 singles record in three matches for PC. Maddie Peake and Addy Parker also recorded singles wins for the Blue Hose.

 

BLUE HOSE ROSTER
This is the first full season as the head coach of the women’s golf program for Columb Knight. Knight, a 2024 graduate of PC, achieved numerous milestones as a player, including ranking seventh in PC’s Division I era with a career stroke average of 74.93. His 2025-26 squad includes four returners, including Maddie Peake, Sloane Spessard, Taylor Reaves, and Emma Louise Hunt. Gabi Carles and Addy Parker highlight the freshman class for Coach Knight.

 

UP NEXT
The Blue Hose have a long break before returning to compete in the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate at Mimosa Hills Golf & CC in Morganton, N.C. on Monday-Tuesday, March 30-31.
