It's called a Live Oak. ("Live" because it's green year-round, does not drop its leaves in winter). There is a Spanish connection though. Spanish ship builders liked using the large boughs for ribs in their ships. Very strong (but also very heavy) wood.
The autofocus in the shadows with the Sony camera seems to struggle or was it on manual focus by mistake? Some good golf James, credit where its due. Loved the swashbuckling 2nd shot swing on the 7th hole, base of the tree on the right. You two at times, sound like an old married couple arguing about nothing important.
Love the 9 holes James and the format your playing if you reach your target we call High road low road if you don't. Let us know the yardage of the holes your playing,very enjoyable video.

Hi James, you asked for feedback on your camera angles. So here it is from a videographer. GET A GIMBLE on all your cameras that are moving. And shoot a little less tight on the headshots. Your shakey clips are extremely gross. Cant watch anymore. I do like your challange tho. All the best. Cheers
Should have come Southern California, Palm Springs area, lots of golf courses and not freezing cold. I’m in Southern California on the other side of the mountain from Palm Springs (Murrieta). I play Admiral Baker almost every week still wearing shorts and light shirts. Running about 68F. A plus is you could come down and play Torrey Pines South course or Aviara. I’m not asking to play a round with you, I’m not good enough, running just below 20 handicap but working on it after dealing with several years of back problems. I’m fully on the mend and working to improve my scoring.

Camera angles are good. They shaky camera must go. More Bobby is good.
