  1. Why do we not learn to play golf like this? Only play with phase 1 until its mastered from the pin back to 100 yrds. Instead we all learn a full swipe driver from the tee and most of never ever learn to play the game of golf, just the game of swipe! Absolutely loved what Sneed said to that bloke about using everything he didn't need!

  2. Great video. Thank you for explaining this in great depth. I have one question. Do you feel that one hand is more dominant in the swing or do you just stay relaxed and not think about either hand and just let it naturally snap?

  3. Interesting mention of keeping the right arm away from the body at the top of the backswing, so many videos mention keeping a towel or other object tucked under the arm to keep it pinned! So confusing!

  4. I was given this pump drill when I first started playing almost 30 years ago and I still use it now. Great video as always.

  5. Really good look at staying closed on the downswing so the club drops down properly instead of getting too steep and coming from the outside. You really don’t have to manipulate things too much if you let the club do the work!

  6. Thanks for sharing. Really a cute swing motion. For irons the ball is adjacent to the club face. But, for driver, it is on a tee and towards the lead foot. Due to this setup, I think when the snap occurs at the bottom of the swing and when the club face moves up and to the side, the ball will be either missed or side swiped. How do you adjust or resolve this issue?

  7. I've tried this but it tends to make me flip the club and lose loft resulting in a high ball flight….😢

  8. Warren working on this concept in the basement waiting for the snow to melt!! (Michigan outside of Detroit) Must say I’m slightly jealous for the green stuff around you.

I find your skills to break down the swing into digestible chunks beneficial. I might never be able to duplicate your talent however as you suggest being able to layer does help

  9. The golf swing can be as difficult as one wants to make it. Cheers from sunny South Florida.

  10. I give up. Just watched another utube video that said the complete opposite-u must turn your arms off and use your body. I think I'll just save myself some time and take lessons and learn whatever swing the instructor has 🤔

  11. I've always thought it'd be really helpful if you had a stick or headless club, to take away golfswing visuals for a moment, and showed in isolation how the hands move the grip of the club through impact. I have the, perhaps flawed, notion that if people could have a good grip that allowed the correct movement and rehearsed a wrist and hand motion at home, it would start blending into the swing quite well. Even if this motion is, to an extent the result of forces, I think the feel would translate nonetheless.

  12. Clearest explanation yet about how to swing the club for those of us who have been casting and are using too much effort with body and arms . The drills show how to achieve snap without getting into the whole “lag” stuff that has confused me more than helped on other YouTube channels. As an older player it also means not over exerting back and shoulders . Thank you Warren

  13. I’m coming to the conclusion that modern teaching is terrible. Way too much focus on the body and positions, rather than swing the club head and adjusting from there. Do you agree?

  14. Good content — you're exactly right. Peter Senior tells the story of seeking help from Gary Edwin. The lesson was 'swing your arms.'

  15. Hands are a primary source of power but only when coordinated with a proper body action.Which is 75%.hands 25%.Not talking about chipping or 1/2 swings.Full swing.Tempo is with body timing is through the hands.
