After not playing competitively for over a decade and finishing close to last in LIV last year, AK completes an incredible comeback to win an event. Started the day 5 shots behind Bryson and Rahm, and finished at 23 under with a round of 9 under par!

What a moment. I remember playing Tiger Woods video games on the PS2 with my friends and nobody was allowed to play as Tiger. AK was always my top choice, he was such a beast. It has been great to see his resurgence. Outplayed some big names who still have good world rankings so this is a solid win, I don’t care what tour it’s on.
PGA is for old men and bootlickers. LIV is the future, and present.

He took 12 years off, came to a new league, and beat the best of the best in his 3rd (I think) year. Truly inspiring.
This is one of the craziest things that I’ve seen in sports. Not a fan of AK the person, but I am a fan of good golf, incredible sports redemption arcs, and anyone that fights to overcome addiction and try their best for their family.
Say what you will about LIV (it generally stinks imo) this was an awesome sports story. Happy for AK
The Saudis should just invest in basing LIV in Australia/SE Asia and have final round coverage on Saturday/Sunday Night in America all the time.
