How to apply this to driver?
I typically don't comment, but this video helped click something on for me. I have been casting and could never figure out the right move, but watching this really helped me out. Thank you!!
The swing is more than good enough at this point. Gotta work on playing golf rather than golf swing.
DECADE, Aimpoint, short game, reps on course. Break par from the forward tees and move back.
Is it 15 yards due to increased club speed? Decreased Dynamic loft? Or a combination?
👌🏻👌🏻 Great session! I think the left wrist at the top position is slightly cupped. It feels more like a transitional solution. But I am curious to see the next video 👌🏻
Stop using this person as your swing coach. He does not respect you or your time. Remember how fun you had with Gabriel. That's the feeling you should have after any session with any pro. Happy new year!!
Bro.. I've been working that lag feeling with my arms and making great contact, after watching this i exaggerated the feeling of collapsing the lag and turning and i just fired my Pwedge an extra 10 yards with the most minimal effort swing ever. Thank you for sharing your journey. I learn a lot of good info from your coach. Lol
Keep it on the shoulder longer. … I needed to hear that
That part where Jerome talks about the feel of lifting the club in front of you was a recent lightbulb for me too. Because your rotation brings it around from there to the slot instead of trying to raise it up right into the slot, where you need perfect timing to not come over the top.
so…..now we DONT need a flat wrist? No winder I get confuzzled
It looks like Jerome is not holding it off compared to the female golfer in the comparison.
I add this last part since it mentions the importance of the follow through which I find lacking in Jerome's swing. More of a result of the swing prior to completion.
So, the follow through, in other words, can tell you something about what went before. If you catch my meaning if you get my drift.
"A complete follow-through ensures that you have executed the "hold off" move correctly and have achieved the desired shot shape."
Btw Jerome's follow through is improving. Mac O' Grady, what a master of the swing.
Go and see Liam Robinson in the UK, best coach out there and will have you smashing the ball. You've gone far too complicated with far too many voices. IMHO.
Just finished the full binge after about 6 weeks. Not sure I like the narration format you've just added, as with my limited attention span (ADHD) it's too easy to tune out and get lost. Either way, keep 'em coming!
Yo, that cupped left wrist at the top is super dangerous , as it may work for a short while to overcompensate for other things , but it is an open clubface , and will lead to lots of timing problems , eventually a loss of power and flipping !!! I would keep your flat left wrist at the top and set the club better , by retracting your right shoulder more in the backswing , which will get the club farther back and create a longer backswing, and also get the hands a little deeper — essentially a longer and slightly flatter backswing with a good wrist set !!! Then relax the hands as you downshift and lower the left shoulder while keeping your shoulders closed to the target , then absolutely rip it !!!
I know this guy is good and if I watch 100x, I might get an inkling of what this guy is talking about.
Work with decades golf of john sherman and do a video on the course!
What video doe he start with this coach
Dude the coach is telling you to go slow…go slow!
Please drills to ingrain this feeling!!
So confusing. I thought you’re not supposed to cup and he’s telling you to cup?
All this swing instruction is starting to get super ridiculous !!! The last guy with the British accent who taught him advised him to strip away everything and focus on speed and then see what is left , and he made good progress , but then he goes back to Dana and over analyzes his swing , now starting to cup his left wrist , worrying about every position , instead of being athletic like the British guy recommended !!! Not going keep watching this nonsense !!!
Dana Dalquist lost tons of credibility with this video !!! What a joke this channel has become !!! Similar to Be Better Golf channel !!!
Bryson has extremely upright golf clubs and needs to take a more extreme approach I would think.
But every other golf video on the web says a lead cupped wrist is bad for a host of reasons?
I don’t get it
Love that he wears melin hats too 🎉🔥
"wait until the end" yet you don't really need to wait everythings happened already
I teach my kid we both needed to see this. Great job Dana
Some of yall comments are personal. Why are some of you so pissed off. Watch something else.
Dude why do I have to subscribe to the channel like every 6 months are u deleting user?!?!?
Basically a tighter radius coming down.
Teaching lag.
Ngl the lag is what i was missing and you guys changed that wow feel and look different thx guys
Dude your swing looks very good.
This is an amazing 👏🏾 video. To have the #1 Golf Trainer to teach you and break down your swing within 25 mins is mind blowing. I'm taking notes. I'm a lefty so this is exciting to see! Only been playing 2yrs so I will reverse this to help me
But they never show it with the driver
Why does evwry video say #1 golf coach but its never the same guy
This is what i am trying to work on next and man I am not looking forward to it. Seems like one of the most difficult fixes in the golf swing
Specs? Who makes the cells?
The teaching is good and makes sense but unless you got a lot of time, it will be difficult to unbuild these new routines into your swing. His objective is to be a scratch, so everything needs to be right, most of us have an objective of just being more consistent, so this teaching maybe too much for many of us to handle.
You really should go get evaluated at the titleist performance institute, TPI. You would learn a lot about your swing.
