Patrick Reed just delivered the final blow to LIV Golf. Days after his biggest win in years, the 2018 Masters champion announced he’s leaving LIV Golf and returning to the PGA Tour the hard way. Reed’s exit comes after Brooks Koepka’s departure and marks a dramatic shift in professional golf, signaling the unraveling of LIV’s star-studded narrative.

From guaranteed Saudi money to team golf experiments, LIV has been trying to reshape the sport for four years. But the departures of Reed and Koepka expose cracks in the system and highlight the enduring power of legacy, competition, and playing against the best.

  1. Too bad. wish Reed would stay on LIV tour. Just fade away. No way the guys on tour should be happy seeing the liv players coming back. Took big payday now get to come back play on the pga tour again. Cake and eat it to. Nice

  2. Nice to see the LIV players coming back makes for a more friendly happy tour with everyone chatting to each other and smiling and displaying unconditional sportsmanship toward each other, maybe the PGA could give those returning from LIV a Golden Hello payment to help them settle back into life on the PGA tour paid for by the fans who don’t fully appreciate how stressful life is for these superstars , just saying .

  3. Feel free to start calling LIV golf, DEAD GOLF!!!!!! Hail to the best golfers in the world on the PGA TOUR.

  4. The LIV league is still a great product and it pays all it's players better than the PGA TOUR. LIV is now eligible to receive OWGR ranking points. This year the PGA Tour is going to hollow out a lot of players who were previously exempt because they were in the top 150. Now that number is the top 100 players and eliminates 50 players who now need a place to play.
