This course is a joke. Plays impossible for half a day, and some of the players are shooting 4, 5 over, and then a couple of drops of rain turns this into a birdie fest, and all the bums are shooting 3, 4 under. Great job USGA. Lol

I'm going to throw up a controversial take. I'm growing to be less in favor of the ultra insane difficult conditions for a major. I've seen a many pros whiff from the rough this week, like advance it 10 yards type stuff. None of the big names played good. It makes me think what's the more likely explanation… The big names ALL having an off week or the conditions are so tough that the guys leading are simply the ones getting the breaks with lies etc. Sure JJ Spaun can play well and he can win a major. There's major winners that aren't the household names. I would personally rather see one player beat the others to win, rather than the field against the course. The course should be the stage for a showdown between the players. Honestly I think The Players does this the best imo.
