Great win, she stood tough and consistent when it counted.
In the first three minutes all it shows are putts except one shot.
Greens were too much. They made Augusta look slow and flat. SMH.
Very smart, methodical golf by Stark. Well done! I dumped the PGA Memorial and switched to the US Women’s Open because Scottie was whupping the field yet again and it was BORING!

골프의 종주국이자 성지이자 몇백년간
골프를 관장해오던 사그러져 가는 유럽의
자존심 영국 R&A 정통성과의 수십년간의
소리없는 전쟁.
그래서 미국은 수십년간 대표적 메이저인
The Open을 인정하지 않고 항상
영국의 대회라는 약간은 폄하된 표현의
British Open이라는 명칭을 사용했죠.
결국 R&A의 양보로 세계골프의 모든것을
USGA와 공동으로 관장하는 조건으로
The Open이란 타이틀을 지키게 됨.
왜 이 명칭에 연연하는가.
그건 The Open의 The 라는 단어 자체가
지구상에서 ”유일한“ “오직” 이라는 의미를
지니기 때문이죠.
USGA는 협상후 공식적으로 The Open이라는
타이틀을 인정해 주었지만 자신들의 미국의
국가이름을 내건 내셔널 오픈대회의 수준 만큼은
지구상에서 제일 어렵게 하겠다는 새로운
전통을 만들었죠.
그래서 특히 남자대회의 그린은
지구상에서 열리는 모든대회중에서
가장 빠른 유리알그린으로 셋팅한다고.
워낙 장비와 선수들 기술이 발달한 지금
조직위가 코스레이트를 높여서 효과적으로
대응할수 있는 유일한 방법은 핀 포지션과
그린 스피드.
그럼 그 기나길었던 골프를 사이에 둔
자존심은 과연 끝났을까요?
그 연장선이 지금의 골프의
대륙간의 전쟁인 “라이더 컵” 과
“솔하임 컵” 이죠 ㅎ

What a stupid golf course. Surprised the USGA didn’t build some windmills or clown mouths for them to hit through.
What an awful golf course! Too many contrived putting surfaces and surrounds. USGA should be ashamed of themselves for returning to this course to hold a championship!
There actually weren't any highlights in the final round. I mean, when one player in the final group triple bogies the last hole to shoot 79 and the leader bogies 17&18 and still wins by two…not exactly compelling golf. C'mon USGA, you can do better. I realize this is the U.S. Open, but this was almost unwatchable.
This golf course has made the greens unpredictable with steep slopes and uneven surfaces to cover the absence of water and tree hazards. A good golf course is where victory or defeat is determined by skill, not luck of the players. This golf course is not.
