Friends and I started golfing seriously this year.. didn’t want to have an offseason. As soon as temps dropped I started working on it. Kinda budgety.. not TOO cheap though.

So this is Drowning Creek Golf Club. I had to finish my garage, change to a side mount direct drive opener, and fish Ethernet through the walls to get awesome internet.

This is a first iteration. I will probably upgrade the projector and launch monitor down the line but for now it’s a 1080p short throw viewsonic, with MLM2PRO. Track light with a focusable spotlight. 1/2” gym mat, heavy black out curtains behind the screen. 1” emt frame. Just got GSPro running on my slightly older gaming rig (12th gen i5-12600K with a 2080 video card.

It’s legitimately not bad at all. I’m stoked on it.. it took a couple weeks to get past the indoor swing syndrome though.

What are you using to insulate the garage door?

Yeah, what’s that reflective garage door insulation cover?

Just to avoid any damage since accidents (poor shots) do happen, I would put some sort of plate or wooden box on the bottom side of that projector. That’s the one thing I worry about when I see projectors mounted in front of the hitting mat. Don’t want a ball shattering the casing. GSPro is such a good program for the cost!

Looks good! Can I ask about cost for the sidemount opener installation (including the electrical outlet)?

Hey what bungees are those? My screen is currently zip tied and it works fine but they bust loose at the bottom of someone hits a low drive. Would rather go with a bungee like this.
