I just went through a PXG fitting today. I was apprehensive, since to call me a high-handicapper would be generous. But Kevin, my fitter, was patient and encouraging, and explained why anyone who wants to play their best, whatever that is, can benefit from custom-fit clubs. I came out with an order for a mixed bag – Wildcat Driver, Hybrid and 7-PW, and a Black Ops 5 Wood. With shaft flex and length dialed in on just those few clubs, with 1 degree upright lie on the irons, and mid-size grips, I was consistently outhitting my bag full of TaylorMade M4 clubs. I left very happy and very exhausted. Can’t wait for the clubs to arrive.
