Warrington-based golf equipment retailer, American Golf, is a takeover target of BBC Dragons’ Den judge, Peter Jones.
The keen amateur golfer is reportedly in talks to acquire the business from private equity backer Endless, according to Sky News.
Insiders say he is keen to grow American Golf’s online presence and sales.
Endless rescued the business, which operates around 80 store locations, in 2018.
