I play TP5X. I would like try the new five when I am done with my current allotment of the TP5X though.

Great video Georgina. Personally prefer a Pro V1 but will give the new TP5 a go this season. It will take a lot for me to change I think.

So basically thdy have been selling a defective product. Ard they gojng to refund or exchange the old ones for new ones as i still have a few left.

Part of taylormade’s court case against Callaway was because of claims of “inconsistent coatings on the tp5 & tp5x” and now they’re admitting their coatings were inconsistent.Are we going to trust them now🤔

The inconsistencies is so minor (within engineering tolerance) that it makes little to no difference. Golf is not played off a perfect surface, there are enough external factors (dirt, moisture, grass, etc) that the micro-differences in paint would make absolutely no difference. If it requires a multi-million dollar testing facility to show a difference where the paint is heavily exaggerated on the ball then there is no "practical" difference.
This whole story is just marketing to try and sell a new ball on a release cycle where they couldn't make it any better from the previous one and don't get me wrong the "old" TP5x is a good ball.
