I got fitted for a brand new set for the first time in my life as a Christmas present (thanks wife!). After a 6 week wait, new clubs finally got delivered over the weekend. Took them to my local simulator spot to do a gapping analysis and on my fourth swing with the 5i, the clubhead literally snapped cleanly in half and crashed into the screen…. I wish I could say I’m so buff that this happened, but my driver swing speed is 95mph so nowhere near fast enough to have caused this without a manufacturing defect. Already reached out to Club Champion to get a replacement head but it’s such a bummer to have to wait even longer

So, 3 swings is the max?
That’s a clean break, there must have been some issue in the casting. That really sucks, not sure where you’re at, but the only saving grace is that the weather SUCKS in most places right now.
Ping sucks
Seems like Ping hasn’t figured out the right metallurgy for the left handed golfer yet 🤣
Can we at least get some pics inside the club head for science
Did it go “ping” when it broke?
4 swings to what, a boulder?!
Ohhh I think I see the problem. You’re left handed.
Could they be fakes?
Anyone else smell something?
Must of been 4 of the worst swings known to man.
I’d ask for new everything.
Just contact customer service
from Ping to Ding….
Cuz you hit from the wrong side of the ball lol
Damn it boy, we always tell you you’re too strong for your own damned good.
“Used – Good condition” Rare left handed no low balls.
Wow, Taylormade is making fake Ping clubs now? Crazy
Insert Temu Joke…
its a left handed club, so by default its a you problem
Dude, how fast is your swing speed?
What kind of swing speed numbers are we talking about here?
Left handed swings.
Ooooof that thing is what, 3x or 4x the price of a Takomo?
Top right corner of the club head looks like it hit a rock. Big dent different than the break.
4 swings…at his bosses’ BMW
Probably because you’re swinging backwards 🤷♂️
Ping will absolutely replace this no questions asked. Their customer service is top notch from what I remember.
5i is an interesting choice for first club to hit out of the set
