— TECH SPECS: SNYDER SPEED —

Core: Extra-large, energetic inner core

Sheath: STPE (Soft Thermoplastic Elastomer)

Cover: NEI® cover (New Evolution Ionomer)

Dimple: 342 pattern

Compression: 80

— THE VERDICT —

The SNYDER Speed is a distance winner in the irons. I gained 6-7 yards of carry over the Pro V1x with my 7-iron. While the Ionomer cover spins less on the wedges (approx 5,600 rpm vs 8,200+ for the others), it offers a penetrating, low-spin flight that could work for golfers looking to add a full club of distance to their bag.

  1. Huge thanks to 506 Golf for the studio time. The SNYDER Speed definitely lived up to the "Speed" name with those iron numbers. If you want more distance and a ball that doesn't balloon in the wind, this 80-compression tech is worth a look. Which of these numbers surprises you the most? 👇 The low wedge spin surprised me. 😢
