LA JOLLA, Calif. (WALB) – Justin Rose of England won the Farmers Insurance Open on Sunday, finishing at 23-under par to capture his 13th PGA Tour victory.

Rose was in control throughout all four rounds of the tournament at Torrey Pines Golf Course.

His winning score broke Tiger Woods’ tournament record by one stroke. Woods set the previous best winning score of 22-under in 1999.

The victory comes after Rose missed the cut at last week’s event, the American Express.
