Is there any subscription fees? No ProTee VX has no subscription to use the included ProTee Labs software or fees to connect to 3rd party golf simulator software like GSPRO.
Do I need to use club stickers or special golf balls? No, that is a huge advantage of this golf launch monitor. You do not need any club stickers or special balls to get full accurate data.
How much space do I need? The mounting height can be from 9ft to 10ft, with 10ft giving you the maximum hitting zone of 25″x21″. Room depth will depend on the safety of the players as it can work if you can safely swing as it measures in a very small distance.
Will there be updates to ProTee labs? Yes. There have been a ton of updates to the A.I. Ball and Club tracking along with features in the software. ProTee is now working on an AI Swing Analysis feature.

Perfect timing! Mine just shipped and will be here in a week. Really excited to use this LM. Did a lot of homework when trying to decide what I wanted for my new home golf simulator. This was a no brainer. Not sure how the big boys can compete given the price and no hidden and subscription fees. And the team at Protee United are constantly improving the software and listening to the community.
I think the biggest question is protee vx vs the vtrack. Less money, better specs, but not as refined stock program. Do you plan on getting a vtrack to test?
Knowing you have used the Uneekor hardware in the past, this question is in regards ro physical size of the LM. From videos and photos it seems the VX hangs much lower and for those with limited height do you feel its a factor? Assuming their height is sufficient for operating. Question is more of Is it in the way of hitting? I am comparing to the lower profile XO family. Thx
When this first came out I thought decent budget overhead unit, but now it’s easy to say this is clearly the best overhead unit especially considering the price.
If money isn’t an issue the only reason to go with a bigger, more expensive name is if you like the native software better.
