Quotable
“Obviously wish we could’ve finished that last nine a little cleaner, but overall I’m very pleased with the team’s attitude and approach. We’ve talked about trying to get a little better each event and implementing what we’ve been working on in practice. So we’ll get back to work and prepare for Phoenix.” – Coach Katie Woodruff
“Really proud of the work Kera and Bella put in getting strong finishes against this strong field. It’s always good to see their hard work rewarded.” – Woodruff

Breakdown
The Mocs finished off round two in great position. The Mocs were tied for sixth at 596 (+20), 14 shots behind 19th-ranked Oklahoma State in the lead.
The ladies cut a stroke over the first six holes of the final round to position themselves for a top 5 finish. However, they played 15 over for the final 12 holes to drop into ninth. It was a strong run to that point for a team that has had so few opportunities to play 18 holes prior to the trip much less 54 over three days.
Team registered 35 birdies for the event (15-1st, 11-2nd, 9-3rd). Bugg led the way with 11 followed by eight each from Cooper and Healey.
35 is a new season high eclipsing 34 at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate. It’s the most since 37 last February at the Westbrook Invite.
Healey’s second round 72 was her 16th career par or better card. She’s now one shy of the top 10 all-time at Chattanooga. 2016 SoCon Champion Megan Woods ’18 is 10th with 17.
Three straight top 20s for Healey (T17-T9-T15). First time in her career.
Bugg’s top 20 is the first of her collegiate career. Her 4-over 220 is a career low.
