The Golf Association of Philadelphia recently published in its magazine a historical profile of Philip L. Corson. Corson lived in Plymouth Meeting for 82 years (1889 to 1981) and would lead the Corson’s family prominent lime and limestone manufacturing business. He was also a well known area golfer playing out of Plymouth Country Club (now the 1912 Club).
