It’s Friday at the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open and that means it’s time for the 36-hole cut. The Farmers is the third event on the PGA Tour’s schedule this year.
They use two golf courses at Torrey Pines for the Farmers. Each golfer plays one round on each of the North and South courses. As play heads to the weekend, all those who made the cut will play two more rounds on the more difficult South.
Who’s leading the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open?
Justin Rose, 45, ballooned his lead to as many as five shots during Friday’s round and takes a four-shot lead into the weekend. The 2019 Farmers champ is seeking his second win at Torrey Pines and his 13th career Tour victory.

The most notable miss was Xander Schauffele, who had made 72 consecutive cuts dating back to the 2022 Masters. A missed birdie putt on his final hole, however, meant he would miss a weekend for the first time in 1,391 days on the PGA Tour. Koepka’s playing partners, Max Homa and Ludvig Aberg, could never get it going this week.
