The Institute of Hospitality Golf Day returns on Thursday 14 May 2026 at The Belfry, once again bringing hospitality professionals together for an incredible day of sport and networking, taking place at the only venue in the world to host four Ryder Cups.

The day begins with breakfast in The Wishaw Suite before teams head out following a short briefing from the resort’s golf professionals. On-course competitions, including Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive, and Beat the Pro keep the day lively and inclusive for players of all abilities.
The popular Longest Putt challenge returns earlier in the afternoon this year, giving non-golfers and golfers alike the chance to compete for the coveted trophy. Then it’s back to The Wishaw Suite to compare notes from the day over drinks before dinner.
Executive Chef Robert Bates presents a very special three-course dinner menu showcasing the venue’s best cuisine.
The evening concludes with a prize draw and charity auction supporting the Institute of Hospitality Youth Council, Institute of Hospitality Midlands, and The Crumbs Project, all helping young people build careers in hospitality. Two headline auction prizes have already been donated by Bespoke Hotels, with more to follow.
