This allows you to get an idea for what your putt is doing when marking your ball on the green

A lot of tour pros use something similar to this when playing practice rounds to give them an idea of slopes especially with greens that they aren’t used to

Tommy Fleetwood for example uses an electronic reader to tell him the % of slope but this ball marker is a bit easier and more practice to carry around in your pocket while also being a part of something else as well
