VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) – On Friday, March 6, the SMGC Health Foundation will host the 5th annual Glow on the Green Golf Tournament at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club. This event combines night golf with a mission that SMGC finds important: raising awareness for men’s health. Check-in begins at 3 p.m. and the tournament tees off at 4 p.m.

As night falls, the course transforms for nine more holes of glow-in-the-dark golf. The popular Bullseye Challenge will return, and awards will be presented for first and second place finishes, as well as the Bullseye Challenge winner.
“Glow on the Green has become one of our most anticipated traditions. It’s fun, it’s competitive, and it reminds men that taking care of their health is worth celebrating,” said Hilary Willis, Executive Director of the SGMC Health Foundation. “Every team that tees off helps expand outreach and access to screenings for men across South Georgia.”

Early-bird pricing for Glow Sponsors will be available for those who register before Feb. 7. All proceeds benefit men’s health awareness and educational outreach programs through the Pearlman Cancer Center, supporting preventive care and early detection for men in the community.
