I love the Farmers Insurance Open. Torrey is a great course that generates drama, and the golf architect podcast nerds need to understand not every PGAT course will be designed by Alister MacKenzie or Donald Ross.
The fact the South Course tortured a lot of the guys out there today was great to see. Now the North Course, it’s amazing how that plays like 3 shots under par while the South was .5 shot over par.

This is why I use a terrible angle of attack. I just use inconsistent moon shots to stop the ball instead of worrying about spin.
Edit: gravity remains undefeated

Me on our muni playing 5800 yards carding an 88.

The South course was such a disappointment when I played it. I thought the design was pretty meh. Without the rough you can just grip it and rip it

If you want to see pain watch the dp world tour event this weekend. There are some diabolical greens and pin placements.
