Scottie Scheffler talks after winning the 2026 American Express
Scottie Scheffler won the 2026 American Express in his season debut. It’s his 20th career PGA Tour win.
Scottie Scheffler has already accomplished so much in his PGA Tour career. On Sunday, he joined some exclusive company.
Scheffler earned $1,656,000 for his win at the 2026 American Express, and that pushed him past the $100 million mark in career earnings. To be exact, he’s now at $101,109,136.
He’s just the third to reach the $100 million mark, joining Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.
Scheffler, 29, earned his 20th PGA Tour win in La Quinta, California, on Sunday. He joined Hale Irwin, Greg Norman, Johnny Revolta and Doug Sanders at 20. His 21st would tie him with Davis Love III, Willie MacFarlane, Lanny Wadkins and Craig Wood.
His 20th also made him the third golfer in the modern era with at least 20 PGA Tour wins, including at least four majors, before the age of 30. Tiger and Jack Nicklaus are the others. Scheffler joined the PGA Tour in 2020.
Scheffler is the 40th golfer to win 20 times, and that’s a magic number, as it grants him a lifetime exemption on the PGA Tour.
