Bought a house on the golf course, this is the first ball I found in my yard. I think it’s a good omen

The house is left side of fairway about 150m up. There’s a big fence covering the left side of the tee box. Previous owners said they get 1 maybe 2 balls in the garden per month. Oftentimes none. In the 37 years they lived there they only had one small glass panel on the deck break and a tile on the roof crack once, and the golf course paid for the repairs.

I recently read that living within 1 mile of a golf course increases your risk of Parkinson’s by 126% . I hate to be a downer, but want to inform.

Enough with the Pro V1. Not helping the weekend hackers game only hurting the bank account. Buy used balls…you’re not on tour!

Seriously, always wanted to know. Please tell me you sneak onto the green and get some chipping and putting in when no one’s around.

Went golfing with the boys on the week of my wedding, my buddy who’s never golfed in his life set up a tee time for us, this was a surprise. (because he knew I liked golf just havnt had time due to working retail the last 11 years and always working weekends) this was my first time out in years, only one of our party of 4 had golfed in the last year.the buddy who set this up was his literal first time out for 18 holes ever… We get there rent some clubs, boys paid for my greens fees at nags head golf links in OBX. Well let’s just say after the stories we herd from the dudes that work there about windows sliders and etc being broken and people being responsible for the fix and replacement. One guy just said if it happens and nobody comes out, everyone takes a par and you jet to the next hole. This waiting for out carts to be pulled up and loaded with the rental clubs. I mean how bad could it really be?! First tee box we had big money houses lining each side of the fairway, basically you miss your out a ball and into someone’s house. All of us shitting bricks, we were way in over our heads. My boy took the tee box first to set the tone, hes the only one who was still golfing regularly. Hit that shit, started curving right an bam, hit the roof and hit it hard as shit we all scrambled to the carts and went to hole 2, we just teed off with irons from there on out lol, for the rest of the day but man it was a blast and the course was stunning. I golfed almost ever weekend after that. My buddy that never golfed also started golfing every weekend after that. It was a nerve racking experience surrounded by beauty but we all made some decent shots now and again, no windows were broken but definitely a few roofs were met with golf balls. That was not a great getting bakc into it or starting course but it was gorgeous, Such a great memory from my wedding and also for the group I golf with frequently now. We all had a blast, golf as much as we can together now.

I hope you never pay for a proV or tp5 ever again. Seriously. Bag em up!

I’m on the left side of the first hole about 200 yards past the tee. The balls that come to me have only been hit once! Love it!
