One of golf’s most legendary players will soon be speaking to the central Pennsylvania community.
On March 18, multi-award-winning, retired golf player Jack Nicklaus will speak at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square, 25 S. Queen St., Lancaster.
This event is part of Elizabethtown College’s Lecture Series and the 2026 High Center Business Forum.
The event will kick off at 4:30 p.m. with a reception, followed by a dinner and an exclusive conversation with the golf legend and philanthropist.
Tickets start at $293.
Mike Mitchell, Executive Director of The High Center, shared in a press release what a visit from Nicklaus means to the community.
“We are thrilled to hear from golf legend Jack Nicklaus, whose career transcended his sport and allowed him to become a role model worldwide,” Mitchell said. “We look forward to hearing him share powerful insights on leadership, excellence, and success. The Forum is an exciting evening that brings our business and nonprofit community together to learn, connect, and leave inspired.”
Nicklaus started his professional golf career at the age of 21 in 1961 and won his first victory a year later, defeating Arnold Palmer at the U.S. Open. Since then, the Ohio-born player has won 18 championships, 120 professional tournament victories, and earned the title of “Golfer of the 20th Century,” among dozens of other honors.
In addition to his achievements as a player, Nicklaus is also well known as a golf course designer, having created over 300 courses, many of which raise money for various charities, like the American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Michigan, which benefits Folds of Honor, a nonprofit that helps spouses and children of fallen military members with educational scholarships.
