Golfer plays world record 652 courses in a year

Josh Simpson, 27, has set a new Guinness World Record by playing 652 different golf courses in a year, surpassing the previous record of 580. Travelling the UK in a £45,000 motorhome, the lawncare specialist battled poor weather, injuries, and logistics to complete the challenge by 23 January 2026. Alongside making history, Josh raised over £45,000 for Macmillan and Tapping House in memory of his late mother, with more charity fundraising planned.
