In this video, I headed down to the Titleist Performance Centre at Woburn Golf Club to test out the brand new Titleist Vokey SM11 wedges.

I joined my fitter John Bean and he guided me through a wedge fitting with the Vokey Wedge fitting app which uses launch monitor technology to analyse how you deliver the golf club to help determine what bounce and grind you should be using with your wedges.

We also talk about wedge shafts and if they should differ from your irons as well as diving into the new technology in the SM11 wedges to see what’s new compared to the previous Vokey SM10 wedges.

  1. I’ve fed in all my golf data to a ChatGPT project and it has recommended weight changes and club changes – results have changed my game for better – way better then any fitting I’ve had and much more detail in swingweight

  2. Super review as always Hannah
I went to try the new vokeys earlier in the week. Without the app. I also had a fitting booked today with the app and ordered the 3 new ones
    I have a 50 54 58 wedge and stuck with the same
Earlier in week I just went on how they felt and sounded as well as numbers on the screen and the best for me were
    50 12f
    54 14f
    58 12k but between that and 12d

Used the app today it threw out 75% match

    50 12f
    54 14f

So both exactly how I felt they were

58 threw out 3 without a stand out % including 12k and 12d so we got all three and hit shots into a hole and it came down between 12k and 12d again but the k were much crisper strikes so we settled on that

So bizarrely the app has given me exactly what I felt earlier in the week to a high % in the 50 and 54 but to a lower % in the 58

It’s an incredible bit of kit

  3. hannah,, great to see you trying new products,, got my mate to watch your vid on eleven hybids,,, he now owns a set !!!

  4. I've never been fit for wedges before as I kind of think I know what will work for me and what wouldn't. I've always been curious though and this video was very enlightening. I quite like the idea of the extra bit of confidence you get when you know the club fits. I'm a member of a links course and an inland one too so multiple wedge set up sounds interesting especially as the inland course has extremely firm sand.

  5. Very interesting, I was not aware of wedges fitting, thanks for the video Hannah, always on the top of technology, I just got an email from Titleist 2 days ago that new BV’s are in the market and you already made the test and DD, cool 😎👌👍✔️

  6. Wonderful video. So many grinds and bounces, but app seems to help a lot to find correct wedge based on personal swing. Thanks for the great information.

  7. I used the online app to see what bounce they recommend for me and surprisingly it's what I currently have in my bag. Granted they are not Vokey wedges but still…King Cobra 50.08, RTZ 54.10 (have 56.08 as option too) , and RTZ 64.08. They didn't have a 64 option in the app but the 60 they suggest was 8* of bounce. I have them in Modus3 120g X-Stiff in 50*/54*/56* and Modus3 X-Stiff 125g in the 64*. The 64* is shorter than standard because I had an RTG 588 64* at 35" and absolutely loved it.

  8. Interesting conversation about ideal contact location and ball flight. Wedges might be the most complicated part of a set to fit because of the range of shots and surfaces to consider. Well done for not editing out that shank!

  9. I have accumulated five sets of wedges over the past 5 years. They're all pretty solid except one 58 degree. That one is clunky no matter how much I've taken off the heel and back sole. Time to set it free.

  10. Excellent review,,,, but, the price of these is utterly ridiculous especially considering that there is no multi material construction or exotic components.
