Wilson have unveiled their new line-up of Staff Model Irons for 2026 and as well as the eye watering blades and the classy CB’s we have a brand new addition with the XB model.
The XB’s are a slightly bigger more forgiving addition to the Staff Model line-up but offer a smaller, more compact iron than the Dynapwr offerings.

One thing that was great with those irons is the spin. So many irons now days are low spin. Is the 7 iron loft 34?
These were in my latest fitting. I hit them miles but the dispersion between good and bad was too wide and spin rate was the same. I ended up going with the PXG0311Ps.
Yeah they look really nice. Be able to pick up a set next year for a reasonable price.
Enjoyed watching this. That's a great looking hollow body iron. If I was in the market for a P790ish club I'd definitely be looking at these!

It’s been a very long time since Wilson was in the “popular” range, but, these irons could help. Maybe some aggressive marketing from Wilson would also help, 😂.

A good question. I appear to have a long 6 iron and a normal 5 iron (longest iron is a 4 which goes to where I expect it to carry). I’ve often thought my loft on the 6 has slipped a bit but now you’ve got me thinking!
Curious as to how Wilson does not get lost in the mix as far as brands that make great golf clubs. Everything I have seen here, those clubs go toe to toe with all of the other OEM‘s, but these are at the same price point. Curious why someone would purchase these versus someone say Titleist.

Hi Hannah , can you give some advice please, I’m 71 and a handicap of 15 , I thinking of changing my iron , I’ve got callaway big berth 2019 with recoil shaft and I’ve always hit the ball to high and don’t get a lot of run, could you tell what shafts would be best and club. Thanks.
Great video as always Hannah, I'm also a low spin player with a strong grip so have always found your reviews informative. I have a up to a 6 iron in the bag and move to a 6 hybrid and 9 wood after this. As you said in the video I have the right gapping when I hit it well all the way to 3 iron but I can't pull that off coming out of rough with a slight mishit. Might as well make golf as easy as you can for yourself!

Finally… a satin finish. The eye blinding chrome on the Dynapower forged put me off, lovely little offset too, I need all the help I can get to suppress my hooks

Hannah I can’t generate spin, my 9i only gets about 4500-5500 rpms. My angle of attack is usually 2-3 degrees down, doesn’t matter what I do the spin never climbs. Mizuno pro 245 about 6 months old.

Those club speed numbers were all over the place, spin numbers on the 7i were suss as well. Wouldn't be trusting any of that data for the 5i, 7i 🫤
My irons start at 7 iron – PW. I would certainly game the Wilson Dynapower Forged irons, as I am currently using C200 irons and distance + forgiveness is still very much needed for me. This iron looks and feels better and would be an aspirational iron to move into when I gain more experience.
Great vid, I am amazed by the spin the irons are getting. Most hollow irons are around 5k spin. I’m going to check these out on quad.

Im still using my C300 forged, chsnging this year. Probably 10yard gap , but as you implied miss hits drops the 5 to a 6 all the way down the bag. I use the 4 in the summer as roll off tee

Does Wilson take Venmo? I currently play the new title is T150 T2 50 combo I’d be very curious to see how these new irons stacked up against them in terms of feel and distance nice review. I’ve heard nothing but great things about Wilson and I’m looking forward to testing them next week.

I love my Wilsons. I sold a newer set of TaylorMade M2s and bought and old Staff set on eBay, best golfing decision of my life. ❤❤
My 5 iron gathers dust. Just don't get the consistent distance I do with my 5 hybrid.
Good video, this now has to have a follow up comparison with other hollow filled body irons, such as TaylorMade and Titleist.
Looks like they have found a perfect niche; absolutely top looking clubs even better in my view to some beautiful Mizuno blades. Love to see the X back in XB; only because I am a big fan of the old 50s/60s/70s X31 blades; although I know these XB's are forged.
