The 2026 Wilson Staff irons are here, and we put the MB, CB, and XB models through full robot testing to see how they really compare.

Using 95mph and 80mph swing speeds, we tested center strikes, off-center dispersion, and analyzed 3D scan data to understand design differences, ball speed retention, forgiveness, and consistency. This is a true apples-to-apples breakdown using robot data — no guessing, no bias.

If you’re deciding between the Staff MB, CB, or XB, this video will help you understand which iron fits your game best.

  1. I'm curious, why did you switch to 95 swing speed versus say 90 mph? going forward are you going to only compare 95/80?

  2. Holy cow, the dispersion is amazing on these. Wilson really hit it out of the park. I also love that you could throw in the XB in say a 4 and 5 iron and get away with either not bending them at all, or going 1* weak to match the lofts of the MB/CBs.

  3. Those CBs have one tight dispersion circle! Seem like an easy recommendation given how affordable they are

  4. Great review guys, all these irons look great but how do the XB compare to the T150 as far as size and forgiveness is concerned?
