However, it is due to be fully up and running from March 1, when there will be an official opening, and it will be offering men’s and women’s golf clothing, golf clubs, and custom club fitting and repair services.
Martin competed on the South African PGA Sunshine Tour, the OneAsia PGA Tour and the China PGA Tour.
He is also the founder of Kids for Golf, a successful golf academy established in South Africa and later expanded to Hong Kong.
Martin is particularly passionate about developing junior golf and disability golf, both of which he is keen to grow at the club and is part of the “Ernie Els for Autism” Foundation, which has the global mission to transform the lives of people with autism and those who care for them through lifetime services and collaborative partnerships.

As well as offering golfing lessons and running the pro shop, Martin will also marshal the golf course and practice ground on behalf of the club, supporting day-to-day operations and helping to ensure an enjoyable experience for both members and visitors.
Michal Simpson, the golf club’s clubhouse and events manager, said the club was delighted to have reach agreement with Martin to see the pro shop reopened.
