The 156-man field has officially been whittled down and now it’s on to the final round at the 2026 American Express.

The AmEx uses three golf courses and now everyone hasa played each of the three – Pete Dye Stadium Course at PGA West, Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course at PGA West and La Quinta Country Club – once.

After 54 holes, the lead is held by Si Woo Kim, who enters the day 22 under, one shot ahead of World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and 18-year-old Blades Brown, who’s playing on a sponsor exemption.

Hard to imagine a better shot than this from Scottie on the par-3 fourth. He’s back to one behind Si Woo Kim.

Blades Brown and Si Woo Kim birdie the second hole while Scottie Scheffler makes a bogey. Kim leads at 23 under with Brown a shot behind and Scheffler two back.

That didn’t take long. Scottie Scheffler hits his approach on the first inside 5 feet and buries the birdie, and he has tied Si Woo Kim for the lead.
