  1. Loved the war cry by Shelton at the end! There is so much pride, money and fame at stake in this grand slam. Hearing people shout like that is inspiring. Just hope that he can do away with the enthusiasm and not be satisfied as this is only the first round. I love his love for the game, so really rooting for Shelton to win the slam.

  2. Yeah, I think Ben might be the biggest threat to topple Sincaraz in the future..lot of people overlooked him because of the US Open injury but he's back now with a bang. Certainly looks better grand slam odds than Bublik. He's a contender bruh.

  3. Ben lucky Humpert just played to the finals of a 250 he must have been getting massages for most of the time until now, which is nice to be able to do 🤤

  4. Ben is playing completely different tennis lately. Way more mature and thoughtful. Still lets of the impulsive explosive forehand but it’s a lot more pre meditated. He’s picking his spots so much better too with all his shots

  5. Another AO, another series of thumbnails spoiling results, one of the only sporting events to still do this.. archaic media team, maybe next year!

  6. Ben has all the talent in the world but you can tell he still isn't using a lot of thought during his return games. It's mostly slower paced balls with too much top spin towards the center of the court.

He can't do that against the bigger hitters and guys who actually think their points through. He has got to start thinking his return game points out more. More slices up the line. More back hands up the line. Instead of trying to slow lob every shot towards the middle of the court. And always trying to run around every ball to his forehand. You can count his backhand winners on one hand.

He has been a pro for a few years now and these glaring weaknesses in his game are still there. He isn't ever going to threaten Sinner or Alcaraz to actually win one of these majors until he fixes these issues..

  7. The level in this match was below my expectations from both players. And both make too much noise as well

  8. Can somebody explain to me why Ugo served 95% off the times to Ben's forehand? Did he forget he was playing a lefty?!
