LIV Golf has announced its first offseason signing, and it’s someone who was in the field at this week’s season-ending PGA Tour event.
Victor Perez, the 33-year-old from France, is signing with Cleeks GC and replacing Frederik Kjettrup, a signee ahead of the 2025 season who struggled in his lone season with the league. Perez becomes the first Frenchman to sign with LIV Golf.
Perez was in the field at this week’s RSM Classic but withdrew Tuesday afternoon and has made 25 starts on the PGA Tour this year. He sits 108th in the FedEx Cup Fall standings and would’ve needed a top-5 finish or better to retain his card.
