i don’t golf, but now i know how to regrip a golf club just in case.
Well no disrespect because i know ppl appreciate the effort but removing old tape is a pain if you dont do it right. Turn on the stove and heat the tape like browning a marshmallow. It heats and releases glue. Tape comes right off
The solvent is reusable aswell so don't waste it
Don’t forget the table vice and club gripper 😂 pretty important part here
Wear gloves. Solvent will destroy your skin
I couldn’t care less about anything related to golf. Why the fuck is YouTube showing me this ? I’m not interested at all
Ivory gripped about a thousand clubs and never remove the old tape, just a waste of time
How do I know if I should put 1 or 2 tapes under the grip??? Midside grip!!
Been playing golf for 45 years. Bought a grip station a few years ago. Best decision I ever made. It's ridiculously easy regripping clubs. I regripped my brand new clubs I ordered after not liking midsize grips. I was shocked how bad the taping was underneath. Do better manufacturers.
Tip #? Never stop pushing the grip halfway. One continuous push.
I wish it were this easy for tennis rackets
Stop using knife and vice. You said all we need is grip kit.
Life lesson not just for golf. Important to always use more lube than not enough lube.
I wouldn’t leave the solvent catcher underneath when removing old grip unless you want a bunch of junk getting into your solvent
Tbh when I first re-gripped my clubs I tried the air method to put them on without the diligent and that and it’s worked really well
use another grip to make sure your not stretching it or not on enough
