Ive been playing the aerojet and it’s awesome, I bought a darkspeed head, because the new ones out and it was discounted, and I can use my current shaft without doing anything. But I haven’t hit it yet, because winter.
If you want something new, cobra drivers are awesome.
Hell of a deal. Don’t have the dark speed but love my Cobra aerojet. Cobra makes great drivers.
I bought a Cobra Aerojet for $170 brand new in a pinch after breaking my gamer. Turns out it’s awesome and I now have no desire to change

Recently got a like new dark speed x for 200 on eBay. Been a great driver and it looks damn good.
The dark speed has been on various sale in the last few months. You can find them cheaper.
Check out pro clubs if you’re ok buying used. Bought one for $160, and it looked like new
I have the LS Darkspeed and love it.
I absolutely love tinkering with the futurefit 33 adapter that comes on the cobra ds adapt and optm lines.
It’s probably not worth the extra $130 when buying new from cobra, but there’s a bunch of used $299 ds adapt x’s on second swing. Idk, personally hard for me to justify buying new when you can get newer, better stuff on the secondary market.
I have the dark speed 5 wood and it’s money

I have the DS Driver, 3W and 7W. They are phenomenal. I wish I still had my LTDx to compare – I feel like the LDTx was a little more forgiving…but holy hell for $300 it’s an absolute must.
Absolutely love mine, for me its super confidence inspiring.
Been playing with that exact driver and I love it. Increased the weight from a 12 to a 18 to make it more LS and it bombs. Put the 3g in front and it’s very forgiving
DS-Adapt can be found new for $325.
Got one new last year when they launched – I absolutely love mine. Great price!

I would suggest the Ping 430 driver. The 440s are out now so they are discounted as well. I just picked one up and am absolutely loving it! Ping also holds alot better resale value over Cobra as well if you decide down the road to upgrade again.

I have a Cobra LTDx Max, and like everyone else in this thread I love my Cobra Driver. If they have one with a shaft that works for you, it’s hard to go wrong.
If I didn’t have a driver that I am loving, I would score this deal. I have a friend with one and he swears by it.
Best driver at that price.

This is a good driver but this has been the standard price for a year now for what it’s worth. I assume in a few months you might be able to score a better deal with their new line just coming out. These haven’t dropped in price yet

I got the Darkspeed Max (the red one) this past summer and I absolutely love it. It’s very forgiving and it helped on my driving accuracy.
One of the best parts about Cobra is that they usually have some good deals for quality clubs. My DS Max Driver was $250 marked down from $600.
I love my darkspeed x. Finally upgraded my driver from a TaylorMade burner once I figured out my driver swing. Upgraded by literally 40 yards to my average drive, but she’s a bitch to control. Such insane value if you can hit the center of your driver face

Bought this last year and it is absolutely fantastic. Looks awesome at address, sounds and feels great, excellent price point, and sends rockets when struck well. Well worth the money.
Aerojet series prior was great and Darkspeed improved on it but not in the irons department.
I’m on my second Radspeed. It has been my favorite driver. Cobra drivers are so underrated (as are their irons as well.).

Good club. Almost got one of these. Got a Callaway instead but did a head to head comparison at the shops hitting bay. It was very close.
Not sure is anyone else noticed but current market price for this driver is $469.99 not $560… so it’s actually 20%OFF.

the dark speed is very good and a great price. i considered getting one last season but it was only marginally better than the ltdx i already own. now i use a ping g430 but the ltdx is still around and gets mixed in. the dark speed is just a little better

I play the Darkspeed – it’s done me well. I’d recommend looking for the DS Adapt simply because for an extra 20-50$ you get a more adjustable hosel.
Great driver, reviews & robotic testing numbers were very good. The only knock on it iirc was they put that blue color on it & went all black with the LS version .. nitpicky detail for sure.
I got a darkspeed LS and its very nice. Sounds great hitting the sweet spot compared to anywhere on the face.
