I went to Heritage Golf Club in Atlanta with a realistic goal: play the Forward Tees (Red Tees) and Break 70. I wanted to use this round to practice scoring and test my wedge game. I did not expect to have the best round of my life. Instead of just breaking par, the strategy took over. I ended up shooting a 57 (-14 Under Par) on a Par 71. At 57 years old, I officially shot my age.

In this video, I break down how a casual practice round turned into a historic day. We analyze the round through the lens of SwingWise and “Golf Theory Optional.” By removing distance as the primary obstacle, we were able to focus purely on probability, course management, and execution. This round proves that when you apply the right decision-making framework, you don’t just reach your goals—you blow past them.
